Good Friday and Easter Services

Please join Pastor Jeremiah and Pastor Mary Blessing for a noontime Good Friday Service to be held at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, 5271 Scotts Valley Drive.

Two Easter Services will be held this year on Sunday, April 16. There will be a “sunrise” service at 7 am at the fire pits at Twin Lakes Beach and a more traditional Easter service at 10:30 am in the church sanctuary.

Those who are able are encouraged to park in lower parking lot behind the church.

Easter Flowers are Welcome
You may bring lilies, daffodils or tulips to the beach or to church on Easter Sunday and place them in the sand or across the front of the platform. You may include a note on the pot if your flowers are in memory of or in honor of a loved one.

Good Friday, March 25, 12 noon at Community Covenant Church
On Good Friday, Pastor Jeremiah will join with Pastor Mary Blessing from St. Philip’s Episcopal Church for a noontime service to be held at Community Covenant Church.

Please join us for one or both of our Easter services. There will be a sunrise service at 7 am at the fire pits at Twin Lakes Beach and a more traditional service at 10:30 am in the sanctuary. Parking at the beach is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Also, as we expect a number of visitors at the 10:30 service, those who are able are encouraged to park in the lower parking lot behind the church. This year we are encouraging you to bring lilies or daffodils or tulips to the beach or to church on Easter Sunday and place them in the sand or across the front of the platform. You may include a note on the pot if your flowers are in memory of or in honor of a loved one.

Club 4-5 meets at church Friday March 27th, from 7 – 8:30 pm. Bring your friends! Call Brian McCutchen if you have questions, 831-222-0576.

The second session of the new member class will meet Saturday, March 28th, from 9 am – 12 pm in the Community Room.

This Sunday, March 29th, at 10:30 am, will be an all age worship service.

Youth Group meets Sunday evening, March 29th, from 7 – 8:30 pm, at church.

Spring Break Youth Beach Day, Wednesday, April 1st, from 11 am to 2 pm! Meet at Its Beach (around the corner from Steamer’s Lane). Contact Brian if you have questions or need directions, 831-222-0576.

Men’s Bible Study, Wednesday, April 1st, 6:30 pm, meet in the Library.

Good Friday Services, April 3rd:
12 pm, joint service with St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church, AT St. Phillip’s, 5271 Scotts Valley Drive

7 pm, service at Community Covenant Church

Good Friday, March 29th, at 12:00 noon we will have a joint service with St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. The service will be at St. Philip’s at 5271 Scotts Valley Drive, Scotts Valley.

Resurrection Sunday, March 31st
9:30 am – Coffee and refreshments will be served before the service. There will be an egg hunt for ages 2 – 5th grade that walks through the Easter Story. Adults and youth 6th grade and up, please consider ushering a child or small group through the self-explanatory stations. It will be a wonderful way to experience Easter Sunday through new eyes!

10:30 am – Worship Service and Children’s Ministry – nursery care provided; children will be dismissed for their own Children’s church time.
