All Age Prayer Hour and Confirmation Sunday

Sunday, April 27th

Prayer hour is held on fourth Sunday of the month. All are invited at 9:00 am for an hour of prayer in Fireside Room. As we commit our community to God we’ll vary our time through prayer in small groups, as individuals, in silence and in song. Caroline will lead the kids prayer time in the C.E. Building for children up to fifth grade.

All are welcome to our Confirmation Sunday Service at 10:30 am to affirm and support our three students who have completed the two year process.

Confirmation Class Walk-a-Thon Monday, May 28th

The 2012 Confirmation class is raising funds to help with third world water issues: 884 million people lack access to clean water; that’s one in eight people. Their fundraising efforts will go to water.org, a secular organization whose goal is to help people in developing countries obtain safe drinking water and basic sanitation (toilets). The Confirmation class is holding a walk-a-thon on Monday, May 28th and they estimate they can cover approximately 10 miles in 5 hours. Please consider sponsoring one of the students by donating to this important cause through Community Covenant Church in one of two ways: online (via credit card or PayPal) or by check. You can donate online by going to the “Give” link on this website. Be sure to note “Confirmation 2012 water.org” on the online donation entry or on your check made out to “Community Covenant Church.”
