Faith Community Shelter Third Saturday
Community Covenant is joining with St. Philip’s on the third Saturday of the month (just changed from second Saturday) for the Faith Community Shelter, where a group of 16-20 homeless participants rotate sleeping in a different church each night of the week. St. Philip’s is providing the sleeping space and Community Covenant is providing the meal. Volunteers are needed to prepare and/or serve the evening meal, and we are starting to put together a monthly schedule through the end of the year. We are trying to get some momentum going and continue with groups like men’s ministry, women’s ministry, staff & families, youth, etc. to develop into a solid ministry to the homeless community.

The immediate need is for this month, June 20. If you are able to participate by preparing or serving the meal, please contact the church office 831-438-4276 or [email protected] If you are interested in participating in the program in an upcoming month, please also contact the church office.
