What’s Happening at Community Covenant?

Today from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, Club 4-5 will meet at the Santa Cruz Roller Palladium. C’mon kids, it’s time to hokey pokey!!

Mission Springs Family Camp begins Monday, June 29 and concludes with a worship service in Cathedral Grove on Sunday, July 5. Community Covenant Church will meet at the normal time (10:30 am), for a meditative communion service.

Men’s Breakfast, Saturday, July 11 at 8:30 am, Mollie’s Cafe in Scotts Valley

Our Wings Ministry Team is looking for volunteers from Community Covenant to join them at the HSC Campus Beautification Day, Saturday, July 11 from 9 am to 1 pm. There will be gardening, organizing, and clean-up of the grounds. All supplies will be provided.

Ten high school students will travel to Knoxville, TN with Brian McCutchen & Erin McMorris to experience CHIC (Covenant High in Christ) on Monday, July 12. They will gather with thousands of other high school students for small group Bible study, large group gatherings with speakers and music, and outdoor recreation (like white water rafting!). Please pray for the group during the week Monday – Friday, July 12-17, for safe travels, thought-provoking conversation, safety while maneuvering the rapids, and that God would spark a deeper faith in each student.

Saturday, July 18th, is the third Saturday of the month, which is our time to prepare and serve the meal for the Faith Communities Shelter Program at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. If you are interested in preparing and/or helping Erik & Heather Hedstrom serve the meal to the 16-20 homeless individuals who gather at St. Phillip’s, please contact the church office 831-438-4276 or reply to this email.

“Hometown Nazareth” Vacation Bible Camp for Grades K-5 is Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31st here at Community Covenant Church. To enroll your child, register online at www.ccsv.org on the “Children’s Ministry” page.
